Subject: [none] Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2006 13:23:41 From: Lindsey Sehmel (firstname.lastname@example.org) I found your email and have a few questions regarding my 'new' telescope. I have a Meade DS 80mm-90mm refracting telescope. The software I received from the purchase is OUT OF DATE (StarNavigator II) It is on a floppy disk. I was wondering, is there is a new version of software for this model? and I run with a Mac OS-X primarily, however I have Parallels installed for compatibility with XP programs. Could you please point me in the proper direction. Thank you and Happy Holidays. LindseyMike here: First, PLEASE read the Email Etiquette item on the ETX Site Home Page; your message was originally DELETED UNREAD as SPAM due to the missing subject line. Thanks for understanding.
Subject: ETX 70 Sent: Friday, December 22, 2006 00:08:23 From: Harder, Wolfgang (Wolfgang.Harder@siemens.com) my english is very bad, sorry ! I have a etx 70 with cable 506 ( with little Box) and I will use the Astro Star Finder edition 3.19 with astrostar 494.ROM 12gd. It works, but the Remote Handbox is only working by up/down/left/right. I have no Astro Star Men ! The Message is Initializing, also the GoTo Function is also corrupt. Meade says that is korrect the Software is for LX200 so i have a Problem. A Update for 494 is not by MEADE. My Question: is a patch known ? Mit freundlichen Gren Wolfgang Harder
Subject: Starry Night Pro and the ETX 90 Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 23:05:19 From: Delbert Crawford (email@example.com) I see adds for Starry Night Pro 6.0 on Amazon.com. It says in the description it will drive a Meade LX200 and Autostar. I was wondering if it Will also drive a ETX90? Or am I just wishful thinking. Delbert CrawfordMike here: If your ETX has an AutoStar, then yes, it should work.
Thanks I might just give it a try. dwc
