1974 VISIT TO KITT PEAK Last updated: 17 February 2008

In 1974 while I was at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for A-7D jet fighter training I went to visit Kitt Peak National Observatory. I just finally scanned my 35mm slides and so thought I would share them with you.

This last one is probably a slide I got from the Gift Shop but there is no label on the slide mount.

That was my first visit to Kitt Peak. However, nearly 30 years later I got there again, this time for a very special visit thanks to Indiana University:
