Dear Michael,

I am the co-webmaster of www.claas.org. CLAAS is the web home of the
Clearwater-Largo Area Astronomical Society, located in Clearwater,

Recently, it was decided that our website should come up with an award
to recognize outstanding contributors to the astronomical community.
Being that several of our members, (myself included) own ETX 'scopes in
various flavors, your name and site came up almost immediately as the
site that should receive the inaugural award.

So, it is with pleasure that we present you with CLAAS's first "CLAASY"
Award for Scientific and Astronomical Excellence on the World-Wide Web.

Your site will receive a place of honor in the awards section of our
website. A direct link to your page will also be provided.

On a more personal note:

I have found your site *the* most informative site I have ever visited
in relation to the Meade ETX series of telescopes. Both myself and Dave
Coley, CLAAS's Co-Webmaster, both own ETXs and we both consider your
site a survival guide for the ETX owner. You have done an outstanding
job and deserve congratulations for your work.

If you ever find yourself on the West Coast of Florida, give us a call.
We would be happy to roll out the red carpet for you!

Best Regards,

Phil Reams, Co-Webmaster phil@claas.org
