"Weasner's Corner" Debuts on Oceanside Photo and Telescope Website

I am pleased to announce that "Weasner's Corner" has debuted on the Oceanside Photo and Telescope website. OPT is a well-known and respected dealer of telescopes and accessories. As many of you know, I have been attending Meade Days at OPT for a couple of years now. OPT offered me an area on their website to expand the reach of "Weasner's Mighty ETX Site" and to bring a similar sense of community to their site.

The association will bring new users to both sites and increase the information content available at both sites. "Weasner's Mighty ETX Site" will continue pretty much like it is although I will link to information on the OPT site and vice versa. Both sites will continue to expand. OPT has placed no restrictions on me at either site. I can and will continue to mention other dealers on my writeups at either site when appropriate. My association with OPT does not mean that I am pushing OPT as a preferred dealer. You should establish your own relationships with a dealer and stick with those with whom you are comfortable.

Many of you have been asking me to expand the ETX Site to larger telescopes. I have always resisted doing that so as to not dilute the content here. "Weasner's Mighty ETX Site" will continue to be an ETX and DS Site. "Weasner's Corner" at OPT will allow me to broaden my scope (no pun intended) over time.
