Posted: 16 January 2025

The sky was partly cloudy on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. I observed Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) again this night in the western sky after sunset.

1740 MST: Sunset.

1805 MST: Tally Ho on the comet, 7x50 binoculars. The head was bright with a nice bright short tail.

I took the following photographs using a D850 DSLR with a 150-600mm lens mounted on a tripod.
