Full Moon Night

As I approached the observatory Monday night, 6 October 2025, the bright Full Moon provided a lot of light.

2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 30mm eyepiece
2" 5.5mm 100° eyepiece

iPhone 15 Pro Max
2039 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.
Viewed the Full Moon, 102X and 81X
Attached the LiDAR Cover on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and mounted the iPhone on the 2" 30mm eyepiece. Took this iPhone afocal 81X image of the Moon using the Camera app (1X lens).
Projected the Moon, 102X, onto the observatory dome. Took this handheld iPhone photo of the Moon on Dome using the Camera app (Night Mode, 3 seconds, 1X lens.
Viewed Saturn, 102X and 443X. Four moons of Saturn were visible: Titan, Rhea, Tethys, and Dione.
2110-2200 MST: Relaxed on the observatory patio bench to enjoy the moonlit night. Even with the bright Full Moon high in the sky, many stars were still visible.
2149 MST: Took this handheld iPhone photo from the bench showing the constellation of Cassiopeia over Cassiopeia Observatory. The Double Cluster is visible between the constellations of Cassiopeia and Perseus. The Pleiades (M45) is at the lower right.
2203 MST: Viewed the planet Neptune, 102X.
2204 MST: LX600 OFF.
