hi i was just wondering if you had the rubber sticky pad to attach the
secondary baffle to my scope or know were to get one that will work as i
contacted meade and they no longer sell them you must send in scope and
have them do it for at least $75.00. any help or ideas would be greatly
appreciated thank you for your time,

Mike here: As noted on the ETX Site Home Page, I'm not a dealer, so no, I don't have any. In fact, I don't recall seeing this being offered by any dealer. Meade would be your only source; the optics need to be recollimated following the replacement, hence Meade's desire to do the work themselves.

I have enjoyed your site for several years.  Maybe I missed it,  but I
am looking for information on how to "smooth out"  the right accession
control knob action.   I have an old original EXT 90.   The declination
control is smooth, but the r.a. adjustment is very jumpy.  It is very
noticeable with high power.   Do you have any ideas ?   Thanks ,  Jim

Mike here: You could add a lever to the RA knob; that would give more control over and should make things smoother. However, the article "ETX-90RA Secondary Baffle Fix" on the Helpful Information: Telescope Tech Tips page might be useful to you.
