I SPOKE WITH MEADE, AND THERE ARE NO .965 FILTERS AVAILABLE. MEADE SENT
ME A 1.25 HUB FOR $0, AND I BOUGHT THE CELESTRON 1.25 KIT FOR $119.00.
NOW I HAVE A DECENT SET-UP FOR ABOUT $400.00. IT IS A GOOD STARTING
POINT FOR LOW-END SCOPES. I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW WELL IT WORKS. THANKS FOR
THE GREAT SITE.

Hello, I am in need of a manual and parts list for my telescope, my
husband bought this (at my request) 3 years ago and I want to try and
get it working but have since lost the manual...please help

thanks so much for the quick response and the help, I am determined to
be "smart enough" to figure this out, I even took a class but the first
thing the teacher said was , if you are in this class to learn how to
use a telescope you are in the wrong class....I now know where some of
the objects are but how to track them with my telescope is another
thing, is this a good scope for an amateur?

Mike here: Almost any telescope is a good place to start. But don't expect to see things the way they appear in photographs.

Mike here: I did a quick search and couldn't find any 0.965 filters. But perhaps someone else will have a solution.

Giving the following final solution:

Best Fit Az Intercept 357
Best Fit Alt Intercept 748

I have a motorized polar montatura with motors DS and Autostar 497 with
patch 31e4 I have selected the 114EQ, I can use the values training of
the LXD55 for my montatura?

Or where I can find the values that they serve to me?

Excuse the translation but I do not speak English (I have used the
Internet translator)

Mike here: Training values are specific to a mount. Which is why retraining is necessary when moving an Autostar from one mount to another. For your DS motors you need to TRAIN DRIVES while the Autostar is connected to that mount. When you switch back to the LXD55 you need to reTRAIN.
