Subject: about the ETX125 Sent: Saturday, November 4, 2006 18:55:38 From: fred gagnon (diesel_bob@hotmail.com) hi ...I have been interested in astronomy since long ago ,but now I want to climb up a level and I thought buying the meade ETX125 AT with UHTC. as I never look throught those and hasn't look through a similar scope since many years,I was wondering what the views in the optics really looks like..I mean ,are the objets viewed are as defined and bright as the photographies taken of them (whith the same telescope)? does those picture exactly defines what you really see ? this is pretty important to me so it will help me to figure what scope should I buy I appreciate the time you will take to read and answer my questionMike here: Most photographs will show a lot more details and colors, especially on faint objects, than the eye will see. This is just due to the nature of the eye. For reports on the ETX-125, see the Helpful Information: Buyer/New User Tips page as well as the Helpful Information: User Observations page; they should give you a pretty good idea of what you can see.
