Subject: Astronomy and Weather Software Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2006 15:16:38 From: Ralph Jung (prime@numericsoftware.com) I have just released a new version of my commercial astronomy application called UDAC. Try out the FREE demo at http://www.numericsoftware.com Some features of this version: - Users in the United States can access NOAA satellite images, radar images and weather forecasts to help plan a viewing session. - Full featured Planisphere with Jovian and Saturnian moon depiction. - Integrated control for RS-232 computer controllable telescopes. (Appropriate cable required) - Emulated GPS messages can be sent to telescopes that can process them at startup and initialization. (See StarPatch from www.stargps.ca) Read the full online User Manual for complete documentation of all of UDAC's features. Visit the Library section of the website for project articles and equipment reviews. Ralph Jung prime@numericsoftware.com www.numericsoftware.com
