I am looking for a replacement viewfinder for a Meade AZ-ads telescope.
I called Meade and they were not at all helpful, and basically stated
the telescope should be abandoned. This seems a drastic course of action
and I was hoping you could possibly assist or point me in the right
direction.  Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply.

Mike here: I'm not familiar with a "Meade AZ-ads" telescope. But you can find several finderscope tips on the Accessory Reviews: Finderscopes page, as well as on the Helpful Information: Telescope Tech Tips page. Many finderscope types are usable on various types of telescopes.
