The Orion Accufocus can -not- be connected to the AUX socket.

It is not compatible.

Hi, you excuse me if the I disturb but I would like to ask her some
information respect to the possibility to connect the focus meade 1240
to the door aux of the control panel of the autostar. I premise that
personally I have realized a system Goto on a fitting eq 3.2 using some
motor ds, I have to say that it works very well, unfortunately in italia
it is practically impossible to recover the focus meade 1240, so
I/you/they are given me an accufocus of the orion, it is all right but
me chidevo if it were possible to connect him/it to the door aux of the
control panel as it happens for the focus 1240 of the meade, I have
tried to retrieve the electric scheme of the 1240 meade but impossible,
I would like to ask her if kindly you/he/she can help me in this
senso,devo to say that I have tried to insert in the door aux the
cavetto with the plung RJ22 (the same of the meade 1240) but aim the
motor of the accufocus turns later immediately alone l ' insertion. It
would need to see really the electric connection with the colors
installed on the RJ22 of the meade 1240. Thanks and you still excuse me

I don't have a DS to test but the Meade focus motor is designed for the ETX models. It could probably be modified to work with the DS. The power output from the DS AUX port is probably the same as with the ETX AUX port.
