Subject: LNT Smartfinder and DS2114 Sent: Monday, March 21, 2011 18:52:58 From: Josh D. Carlson (joshcarlson@mac.com) I purchased a Meade DS2114 which did not come with the LNT module (it was supposed to, but that's a long story)... Anyway, I recently picked up a LNT module which was supposed to be for an ETX90. It looked the same as the ones I've seen for a DS model and it was cheap so I got it (posting on Astromart). The problem is that it isn't wired to the RJ11(?) plug so I obviously can't plug it into the AUX port. There are four wires coming from the unit (blue, green, red and yellow) so I figure I can just wire it up myself. I guess my first question is will this work? 2nd, is there a wiring diagram or any instructions available so I can do this? 3rd, what would be a good way to mount this? I currently have the Non-LNT Red dot finder installed... And finally, I assume I should also purchase the Atomic Update Module for this if all works? Thank you for your Help! Josh D. You might find some info there that will help.

Thanks Mike. I'll take a look. Also thank you for a really great site! I find it extremely helpful and plan to donate when I get a few extra bucks... :) Josh D. Carlson
