Viewed Venus, 102X. Its crescent phase is getting thinner.
Viewed the Moon, 102X and 49X. Pretty sight of the Moon against a bright blue sky background.
1823 MST: Moon against the blue sky, iPhone 11 Pro Max, afocal 49X, Levenhuk Smartphone Adapter, NightCap Camera (ISO 32, 1/5200sec, 1X lens).
As sunset approached I left the observatory to take this photograph showing the "greening" of the foliage around the observatory.
1911 MST: sunset. Calm now.
1914 MST: Moon, iPhone, afocal 49X, Levenhuk Smartphone Adapter, NightCap Camera (ISO 21, 1/620sec, 2X lens).
Viewed the Moon, 49X. Still a nice sight at this low magnification.
Viewed Venus, 49X. Even at this low magnification the Venus crescent was nice.
1923 MST: Venus, iPhone, afocal 49X, Levenhuk Smartphone Adapter, NightCap Camera (ISO 21, 1/500sec, 2X lens).
1927 MST: viewed Venus, 102X.
1930 MST: LX600 OFF.
