For Sale; ETX-90 M with accessories.

Excellent optically, a few bumps and scratches here and there, but
optics untouched, except careful cleaning of the outer lens (outside
only!)

This is a well set up, often used telescope that has served me well (see
Mikes' "User Observations" under my name,

or titles such as "Galaxy hunting with the ETX-90",  "Mars
Observations", etc...)

Never collimated, focus knob never removed, RA drive base has been
shimmed and lubed as described in Mikes' "Tech Tips" to smooth out RA
motion.

Some image shift noticable around 140x, optics are well collimated.

Included is the following;

ETX-90 M telescope with Meade softbag.

Meade #884 tripod with Meade softbag.

ETX visual back.

Red dot finder.

Generic 45 degree diagonal for daytime use.

Celestron-Vixen (Japan) 90 degree diagonal.

Meade ETX-125 finder bracket replacing existing finder bracket.( This
bracket allows you to use an ETX-125 finder, along with any 6x30 or 6x26
CI finder notched for an X-Y bracket)

Meade screw-on dew shield, internally lined with black velvet for added
contrast.

Meade standard screw-on front cover.

An automotive feeler guage, modified to fit around the drive base On-Off
switch. This allows you to switch the power on or off while the
telescope is mounted to the tripod.

Lastly, a simple wooden clothespin, which clips to the stock focuser
knob at a 90 degree angle, allowing super-fine focusing!

This is an excellent grab-and-go setup, well suited to daytime and
nighttime observing.

Everything fits neatly into the two Meade bags, just add eyepieces.

The scope is a Meade ETX 125 EC which was supercharged by Clay Sherrod
in 2003. The tripod is the deluxe, with tray and blue fabric carrying
case. Tripod is in excellent condition with no rust or scratches in the
metal. The ports on the scope base all work properly as does the
AutoStar and 2 other electronic controllers. Eyepieces include Meade
26mm superplossol, Tele-Vue 8mm and 20mm plossols, Meade 2X Barlow and
Meade 4000 series color filter.Other accessories include AC adapter,
software from Clay Sherrod's supercharge, lens hood, Using the Meade EXT
by Mike Weasner. I do have the original box the scope was shipped in. 
The asking price is $800 with shipping paid by buyer, the cost of

PS.
 
A while ago I took your suggestion(I think) for keeping my secondary
from moving on my SN8 scope and I put a small rubber seal on the base of
the secondary and its working flawlessly!!!!!You ARE the man.
