Some LXD55 users have sent me examples of their astrophotography. If you have some examples you would like included here please send me a description of how you made the astrophotos and a copy of the images as GIF or JPEG files (due to internet email gateway issues, please send only one image file per message or ZIP or Stuff multiple files). Send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, if you have created your own web page with your examples please let me know and I'll include a link to your site.

|My name is Jim Katsifolis, and I am an LXD 55 SCT 8" user from Melbourne, Australia. I just came across your site (don't know how I missed it earlier). Great web site and very informative. Still haven't got the most out of my scope (although always buying accessories), so think I'll be spending a bit of time getting to know the material on your web site, especially your hints regarding astrophotography. Thought you may be interested in an image of Jupiter I took on the 25 April, 2006. I have attached a jpg. I used a Meade LXD 55 SCT 8", electronic focuser, with a Philips ToUcam Pro II 1.2 megapixel Web Cam attached for primary focus. I used Registax 3 to process the AVI capture (320x240 pixels, 309 frames @ 14 frames/sec).|
